XP listed, is for those in the range for the area. If you are higher than the maximum, you get less xp.

* Remember that the slaying XP in Gianthold Tor is for each tribe (Storm's Heart, Storm's Eye and Storm's Fist), and that slaying XP in The Sands of Menechtarun is for each tribe (Gnolls, Undead, Scorrows) so you can get this XP 3 times when you get this number of kills within each tribe!
** Slaying in the Vale of Twilight is for each of the two groups, so you can get double the points shown here.
*** Reaver's Reach consists of 4 interwoven areas: Mount Reysalon, Soami Gardens, Aussircaex's Valley and the one before the raid, Eerie Forest. They have either 4 or 6 or 5 explorers each, 3 rares each and share in the slayer total.
**** This number is theoretical. You'll actually get a more xp if you finish the area, because you'll probably re-kill many rares. Each re-kill is 1/3 the original xp for the rare.

As you can see, there's a lot of XP to be gotten here in these new Adventure Areas. When your character is within the levels for one of these areas, then they play very well whenever you:

• don't have much time to play when you log on, or
• don't know how long you can play when you log on, and don't want to join a quest, knowing you may have to leave part of the way through.
• and some friends want to have fun (go afk and still get xp for kills!)
• need just a little xp to level, and want to get it without the hassle of a full-blown quest.

This is a work in progress, and thanks to all that have helped me get the xp numbers. Remember, you only get full xp in these areas if you are within the level limits at the top of the column. If you are one level above, you get 1/2 xp, if 2 levels above, you get 1/3 xp, etc.

• To get credit for exploring an area, your character must actually go to those areas. It is not enough for someone else in the party to reach the area.
• To get credit for kills, or for rare encounters, you only need to be in the area when the kills happen. This is not true for the  rare encounters that need to be talked to directly.

You can probably save yourself some time getting future numbers by instead using the formulas used to derive the EXP amounts:

Explorer EXP = (Level + 3) * 25
All Explorer Bonus = (Explorer EXP / 4) * Number of Explorers

Rare EXP = (Level + 3) * 50
All Rare Bonus = (Rare EXP / 2) * Number of Explorers

Slayer (10) = ((Level + 1) * 40) + 5
Slayer (25) = ((Level + 1) * 53.3333) + 20
Slayer (50) = ((Level + 1) * 70) + 65
Slayer (100) = ((Level + 1) * 97.5) + 195
Slayer (200) = ((Level + 1) * 145) + 485
Slayer (400) = ((Level + 1) * 235) + 1115
Slayer (750) = ((Level + 1) * 375) + 2145
Slayer (1500) = ((Level + 1) * 742.5) + 4995
Slayer (3000) = ((Level + 1) * 1465) + 10685
Slayer (5000) = ((Level + 1) * 2025) + 15075
Slayer (7500) = ((Level + 1) * 2635) + 19865
