Psalm 11 for America!

Let the whole world know that many Americans take refuge in the Lord.

How then can you say to those Americans at a time like this:
"Flee like a bird! Lock yourself and your family in your home!
Look, the wicked Taliban is preparing for another attack!
They are loading up and packing for their next surprise attack!
When the foundations of our decent society are apparently being destroyed,
what can God-fearing Americans do?"

We can remember this:

The LORD is in His holy temple;
The LORD is on His heavenly throne.
He is watching the sons of men;
His eyes examine them even as we speak.

The LORD tenderly reviews the righteous,
but the wicked Taliban and all those who love to use violence, His soul hates.

On the wicked Taliban and their supporters
He will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.

For the LORD is righteous, He loves justice;
upright people of all nations will see his face.
