Psalm 16
Keep
safe, O God, for in You
takes refuge.
said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from You I have nothing." As for the saints in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all
delight.
The sorrows of those who run after other 'gods' will increase,
will not pour out their libations of blood nor mention their names.
LORD, you have assigned
responsibilities and benefits; you have made
lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for
in pleasant places; surely
will have a delightful inheritance.
will praise the LORD, who counsels
even in difficult times
heart instructs
says, "I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." That's why
heart is glad and tongue rejoices;
body also will rest secure, because You will not abandon
to the grave, nor will You let
spirit decay.
You have made known to
the path of life; You will fill
with joy in Your presence, and with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.
