The Power of Purpose

The sun can shine on a field all day long and warm it while it's rays are scattered. To start a fire, all you need is a magnifying glass, which will focus the sun's rays. Keep them focused for a while, and see the true power of the sun before you. This power is so far away from use, that to get a better glimpse of what it is we must focus that power. Having a goal, or a purpose in your life will do the same for the power within you. Especially if the purpose is much bigger than you are, and longer lasting! If you have no purpose, you are bored, and need to be entertained almost constantly. If you have a purpose, you need entertainment only occasionally, because your purpose and your progress in it, entertains you. Think about it, couch potatoes have no reason to live, no reason to give. It is a sad waste of tremendous power and potential.

Dr. Laura This talk show host is CONSISTENT. In every situation she is asked about, you can count on several things, but most of all, she puts the needs of the children first, before the needs of the adults in the child's life. She has several books out as well. I respect her consistency.

Once you have something inside to give, then you can give these things to others. In that case, you are ready to visit the resources listed for interdependence.
